  • At least two gold-standard certifications/degrees (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, PhD, OSCP, CEH)
  • Proven leadership and recognition as a cybersecurity expert

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver critical cybersecurity support
  • Mentor volunteers
  • Collaborate with founders to drive impactful results

Advisory Board Members (Invite Only)

Accomplished leaders providing strategic guidance and mentorship.

Requirements:

  • 16+ years in cybersecurity or related field
  • Significant industry contributions
  • Proven strategic thinking and leadership

What skills do I need to volunteer?

You can volunteer with basic cybersecurity knowledge, technical expertise, or other relevant skills such as graphic design, documentation, or social media management. Specific requirements vary by role—Technical Fellows require 5–10+ years of experience and certifications, while general volunteers can contribute in creative or operational areas.

Time commitment is flexible and depends on your availability and the role you choose. Some volunteers contribute a few hours per month, while others may take on ongoing projects or mentorship responsibilities. You can discuss your preferred schedule during onboarding.
Yes! New volunteers receive onboarding materials, guidance from experienced team members, and access to resources. Technical Fellows mentor volunteers, and you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive community.
